Looks like that groundhog saw his shadow on Friday, so we’re
in for another six weeks of winter! With
our without Mr. Groundhog, we know how February and March can be here in
Central New York, so we’re pretty good at being prepared for anything that
comes our way. Try to stay warm!
Our PTA sponsored Enrichment Day last Saturday was well
attended and a big success. Thank you to
the many parents and community members who helped to make the event possible. Our kids had fun hip-hop dancing, coding,
building bird feeders, decorating cupcakes, collecting coins, trading sports
cards, Irish dancing, woodworking, and exploring zoo animals, just to name a
few of the activities!
If you are a parent of a fifth grade student and you would
like to help plan the end-of-year fifth grade festivities, please join us for a
brief informational meeting on Thursday, February 15 at 7:15 in the library. This will be immediately following our PTA
meeting, so feel free to come at 6:30 and stay for both!
Last week we celebrated students who demonstrate the
character traits of perseverance, hope/optimism, and prudence:
